Once again this year, the field bet - which I've never actually seen offered - would have been the winner. Wonder what the odds were on Allen Cunningham were, the name pro who came the closest.

That's what a field bet is. It means you get all the entrants who are unknown or not rated highly enough to be given individual odds.

With tens of thousands of people entering and the majority of them being nobodys when they enter.. Odds are the field bet would always win...
